Mariko Fukuoka
Mariko Fukuoka is an illustrator and mother of two currently living in Kyoto. She graduated from Kyoto University of Art & Design where she majored in spatial design. In 2015, after working as a graphic designer in a home decor store, Mariko began her career as a freelance illustrator and designer focusing on advertisements, magazine spots, web, packaging, paper and print goods, etc.

With a gentle touch Mariko recreates daily life in soft tones and hand-drawn lines. Food, interior objects, and people are reoccurring motifs in Mariko’s illustrations of women’s fashion, cuisine, and lifestyle.
